UPDATE 10/07/2008:
The
judges have returned their scores and we've performed our final
elegibility review. Only one entry was disqualified due to
non-clearance of payment. There are 8 qualified entries, and
notification and prizes will be sent to winners this week. The winning
entries will be posted on this site next week.
The final prizes are (due to disqualification of one entry):
- First Place: $320.
- Second Place $120.
- Third Place $40.
UPDATE 09/01/2008:
We
want to thank everyone who visited our site over the last couple
of months. We received numerous positive comments and help from so many
people. The site had over 1,000 visitors from 18 different countries,
though the majority were from right here in the USA.
We
especially want to thank those who chose to participate! Even though we
did not receive near as many entries as we hoped, those who sent one in
did so with grace and enthusiasm.
As of 7:00pm MST, August
31, 2008, we received a total of 9 entries, and those entries are now
being prepared to go to the judges. We hope to have the winners
selected soon! The prizes will be as follows:
- First Place: $360.
- Second Place $135.
- Third Place $45.
